ファンの間では隠れた名曲と言われているPerfumeの"Seventh Heaven"のトークボックスによるｶｳﾞｧｰです。 "トークボックス"はシンセから出力された音を一度、コンプレッションドライバー（トークボックス本体）と言われる一種のスピーカーに通して増幅した後、チューブを通して、口の中に音を直接出力して演奏しています。演奏者はそのチューブから出力されたその音を口の中で共鳴させて「発音」し「歌って」いるのです。 私たちは普段、話す時には声帯を振るわせて音を出した後、口の中で「発音」し、会話していますが、トークボックス演奏者は声帯を使わずにシンセからの音を口に取り込んで、いわば「口パク」状態で歌っているのです。音階の変化はキーボード側で弾いて変化させています。似たような楽器にヴォコーダーが有りますが、ヴォコーダーはマイクに向かって喋った後、機械側でエフェクトをかけるためトークボックスとは正反対の性格の楽器です。トークボックスは必ず人間の口の中にチューブをくわえて「発音」しなければいけないために、より人間味のある歌声になると思います。 肉声を使わずにシンセサイザーの音色を歌声に変え自由自在に歌っている様に聞こえる、というのがトークボックスの先駆者、故ロジャートラウトマンが到達した理想だと考えています。 故ロジャーは英語圏の人だった為、当然英語曲しか作品を残していません。 そろそろ、「日本語」で歌うトークボックス曲が出てきても良い頃だと考えて挑戦しています。 "SEVENTH...
